Our Story
Founded by Matthew Couch. Director.
Matthew Couch formed MJC Building in 2011 after working for 10 years in the construction industry.
He became a qualified builder in 2005 and is a New Zealand Certified Building Member and a Licensed Builder under the government’s Licensed Building Practitioner Scheme (BP119167).
Matthew has a background in commercial and residential building. That solid grounding provides him and his team with a very wide range of building skills and a wealth of industry experience.
At MJC Building, we are actively involved in the building industry through Certified Builder’s meetings, trade seminars and training BCITO Apprentices. We are well informed and up to date with industry standards and regulations. We are also affiliated with HazardCo to ensure our sites are safe and meet NZ’s health and safety requirements.
